The {NewNew} is now the Etsy {New York} Street Team

Our Facebook friends and Twitter followers may have noticed our recent name and logo change to the Etsy {New York} Street Team.

Five years ago, Kimm first gathered a group of artists and designers to form an Etsy street team around our common geographic location. Since then our team has evolved and it has become clear to us that our name and identity should spell out clearly and succinctly who we are: the Etsy street team that is based in New York City.

And here is a quick trip down memory lane to reminisce over the iterations of our logo through the years:

The {NewNew} gets a new look!

Wow, that's a mouthful! This summer, the {NewNew} has gotten a face lift. We asked the most talented people we know - our members - to interpret what the team means and to design a logo that reflects those sentiments for us to use in all of our promotional materials, website and social networks. After weeks of anticipation, I couldn't of been more pleased with the submissions that showed up in my inbox! Thank you all who participated! Take a look at what our members came up with:
