Meet the Artisans at the NY Handmade Pop Up
Featuring One-of-a-Kind, Locally Made Artisanal Crafts
Consumers seeking one-of-a-kind, locally handmade goods need look no further than the NY Handmade Pop Up, a unique market taking place on Sunday, September 19, from 10:00 am - 5:30 pm. A collaboration between NY Handmade Collective (NYHC) and Grand Bazaar NYC, a popular shopping destination at 100 West 77 Street and Columbus Avenue, this event will offer shoppers a special opportunity to personally meet the artisans behind these unique, handcrafted products and come away with a memorable purchase.
"We are absolutely thrilled to again partner with NY Handmade Collective for another special pop-up market at Grand Bazaar NYC," said Marc Seago, Grand Bazaar NYC Director. "It's a natural fit for us to work together. Part of our mission is to keep New York City creative and authentic by providing this unique and quality shopping environment for our local talented artists, designers and craft-makers."
Grand Bazaar NYC hails itself as the oldest, largest, and most diverse curated weekly shopping market in New York City, and the only market with a social mission of donating 100% of its net profits to four neighborhood public schools, benefitting over 2,000 children. The Parents Associations representing PS 87, The Computer School, PS 334 and M.S. M247 Dual Language Middle School use this much-needed funding for art enrichment programs, classroom teaching assistants, books, supplies, sports programs and more.
Shoppers will be able to select from a juried showcase of exceptional and diverse merchandise. Among these handmade products are fine art, paper goods and stationery, jewelry and unique fashions, home decor, amazing skincare products, self help items and products for children and pets.
