With the start of November begins early holiday shopping, so be sure to buy handmade and buy local. What better way to give than by shopping with the {NewNew}? Check them out this weekend in Manhattan and Brooklyn.

The Fort Greene Flea is the place to be for great handmade items, antiques, and food. This Saturday, YaniaCreations, SarahKathleenWarner, and Milkmade will be representing the {NewNew} in Fort Greene.
Location: Bishop Loughlin Memorial High School, Lafayette Avenue between Clermont and Vanderbilt Avenues, Brooklyn. Saturday, 10am - 5pm.

Where to Find the {NewNew} October 24 + 25

After the great success of Crafts in Chelsea last Saturday, the {NewNew} is back this weekend with the best handmade goods around. Check us out not only in New York City, but at the SoWa market in Boston as well!

NYCraft [a group of {NewNew}ers] continues at beautiful Madison Square Park until November 1st. Enjoy the autumn season by strolling through this outdoor market, and be sure to stop by and say hello to {NewNew} artisans AlexandraFerguson, KimmChi, Meegün, Metalicious, LennyMud, Fubabee, and Wabisabi Brooklyn.

The {NewNew} brings a taste of the New York indie craft scene to Boston's SoWa Open Market on Sunday October 25 from 10-4 to help the market celebrate the end of its sixth successful season. Over 15 vendors from the {NewNew} team will be selling their specialty wares including clothing, home décor, jewelry, accessories, paper goods, bath and body products and children's toys. Look for {NewNew} vendor tents sporting blue banners with the team logo throughout the market.
Location: 540 Harrison Avenue, Boston, MA. Sunday, 10am - 4pm.


The Market at the Old American Can Factory is back this weekend in Gowanus, Brooklyn. If you haven't checked it out yet, take a look this Sunday and see Wabisabi Brooklyn's cool decoupage jewelry.

Zombies Attack SOWA, NewNew Follows


On Sunday, October 25th, the {NewNew} is returning to Boston!
Get your costumes ready and join us at The Market of the Living Dead!
Get your dead on for the 6th Annual Vendor Costume Contest.
The event has become a BIG tradition at the SoWa Open Market
and they have gotten quite the reputation in the neighborhood.
This year's theme it's dead serious... seriously.

Zombies will be rising from their graves to sell their goods.
Come and join the vendors in their ghouliest, the bloodier the better.
If you don't come as a zombie, we guarantee you'll leave as one!


Look for {New New} vendor tents sporting blue banners
with the team logo throughout the market.

Where to Find the {NewNew} October 17 + 18

This weekend boasts the much anticipated Crafts in Chelsea as well as the continuation of NYCraft at Madison Square Park. Be sure to come on by and check out your favorite {NewNew} sellers!

PS 11 is partnering with The {NewNew} - a local NY Metro group of Etsy Sellers - to close 21st Street between 8th and 9th Avenues, to host Crafts in Chelsea. A fall handmade delight of the finest handmade arts and crafts the New York Metro are has to offer. From elegant jewelry to unique upcycled handbags, to cutting edge fashions, artwork, and more! All handmade within the New York Tri-state region. Check out sellers and more information on this post.

Sunnyside Garden's Park Craft Fair & Oktoberfest
The park will be open to all from noon until 5pm for great food, music from The Strung Out String Band, and handcrafted items including jewelry, eco-friendly products, and clothing for kids and adults. CollectiveElements and YaniaCreations will be present at this fun fair.

Clay, Wood & Cotton is a sweet new store in Beacon, NY that is celebrating it's Grand Opening this Saturday, October 10th. Take a trip to beautiful Hudson Valley and enjoy this great handmade housewares store owned by {NewNew} artisans BeaconBookmarks and Cakehouse.

Nyack's Famous Street Fair
Nyack's Famous Street Fair will be held on Main Street & Broadway, Nyack, N.Y., rain or shine. Historic Nyack is located in Rockland County on the Hudson River, near the Tappan Zee Bridge. Over 150 exhibitors will be participating at the show, including YaniaCreations, StudioByTheSea, Paperelle, PandaWithCookie, and NordeaSoaperie.
Location: Main Street & Broadway in Nyack. Sunday, 10am - 4pm.

Where to Find the {NewNew} October 3 + 4

October is here, and with the chilly weather comes the plethora of fall festivals and markets throughout New York Metro Area. The {NewNew} will be out this weekend at many of these fairs, so be sure to stop by and check them out at the locations below.

The first annual All Angels' Church block party will feature entertainment and activities for every age, including an artisan craft fair, rides and art activities for kids, art installations, photography, live music, food, and a curated gallery. {NewNew} vendors include NordeaSoaperie, CLineCreations, Meekiyua, AltonWeekesStationary, SarahKathleenWarnerJewelry, and WindowsOfAgate.
Location: 80th Street between Broadway and West End on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. Saturday, 10am - 6pm.

ArtMart 11225 is an annual outdoor arts and crafts market on Lincoln Road sponsored by PLG Arts and local vendors. Check out {NewNew} artisans YaniaCreations and CollectiveElements. Location: Lincoln Road (Q or S train to Prospect Park, exit to Lincoln Road.) Brooklyn, NY. Saturday, 10am - 5pm.

PandaWithCookie is back at the Brooklyn Indie Market this weekend, so take the opportunity to check out this great market in beautiful Carroll Gardens.

The grounds of The Lewes Historical Society are located near the downtown shopping district of coastal Sussex County in Delaware. Over 80 craftspeople will exhibit a variety of media in a unique setting. {NewNew} member Peppersprouts will be in attendance for this hometown show.

The 35th annual Atlantic Antic will feature ten live entertainment stages, over 600 vendors, and kids events. Local and national craftspeople, food vendors, and nonprofits will be present at this year's Antic, and a contingent of {NewNew} artisans will be selling their fantastic handmade items. The annual Sea Cliff Mini-Mart will take place in downtown Sea Cliff, Long Island. The street fair & art festival includes approximately 200 exhibitors & food vendors. YaniaCreations will be vending at this great festival.
