Free: Make Coasters on Governors Island June 22, 1 pm

Jean of  La Muse Kalliope will return this weekend on Saturday June 22 to the Better Than Jam shop in Nolan Park on Governors Island to teach you how to stitch coasters from recycled scraps. This project is great for beginner and experienced sewers alike!

Crafts in Chelsea Returns!

On Saturday October 20th from 11-4 the Etsy New York Street Team in collaboration with PS 11 returns to Chelsea. This twice-a-year affair spans the length of West 21st Street between 8th and 9th Avenue featuring over a 100 different vendors of exclusively handmade products. Endorsed by Markets of New York as "One of the most dynamic and exciting craft market events of the year," visit the festival to get outfitted with appropriate fall attire like this hat by Birdy 27 Designs:

This holiday season come find designer/maker gifts from the Lil’ New Yorker at the seventh annual Columbus Circle Holiday Market - one of the most elegant and beautiful holiday markets in New York City. You’ll find all your holiday shopping needs for ages newborn to tweenies and boys & girls here.
