Michele Nordi Hern was raised on an agricultural farm near the New Jersey Shore and has been a Bay Ridge, Brooklyn working and teaching artist for three decades. A graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design, she is currently practicing in both watercolor and dry media on paper as well as fabric. Her childhood experience of growing up in a farming community and having a profound awe of our natural world is a passionately pronounced undercurrent in her work. Current collection includes hand-painted silk scarves, notecard sets, fine art prints, and original paintings and drawings.
