Astoria
Astor Apiaries is an urban beekeeping company based in Astoria, Queens. We manage honey bee hives across New York City and produce small-batch, raw honey that reflects the unique neighborhoods where it’s harvested.
Founded by Master Beekeeper Nick Hoefly, Astor Apiaries focuses on sustainable hive management, local honey production, and hands-on education. In addition to honey and hive products, we offer workshops, hive installations, school programs, and corporate partnerships that connect people to bees in a real and accessible way.
Our mission is simple: care for bees responsibly, produce exceptional honey, and make urban beekeeping part of everyday city life.
