Starry Night...Astoria So Bright

by Lorina/Beadscarf

The Indie shopping boom has seemingly taken over Brooklyn. And it's easy to see why: countless markets featuring indie goods, handmade markets, and not to mention all the crafty inhabitants of the southern borough.

But just to the east of Manhattan is the eclectic neighborhood of Astoria, Queens.

Astoria saw an influx of artists and indie designers in the late 1990's and no doubt, there are plenty of chic boutiques sprawled out for indie shopping pleasures.

If you haven't seen what indie Astoria has to offer, the perfect opportunity awaits this week!
