I love New York. I have lived here now for six years, and grew up just outside of the city, so New York has always had a very special place in my heart. I do find, however, that this time of year it is hard to muster the same level of enthusiasm for my beloved city as I have during the other, warmer seasons of the year. Six weeks (and eight winter storms) into this Winter season, I thought I needed to remind myself of why I love New York.
