Where to Find the {NewNew} April 3 + 4


You know that spring is here when the Brooklyn Indie Market opens up for a new season! The {NewNew} will have a presence here, with members WabisabiBrooklyn, KimmChi, Fofolle, HeartFelt4Kids, Elements4InspirdLivng, RocksAndSalt, OffTheMat, and MetropolisSoapCo representing. Take a trip to lovely Carroll Gardens for this great emerging designer market.
Location: Red and white striped tent on Smith and Union Street, Brooklyn. Saturday 11am - 7pm and Sunday 11am - 6pm.

The Brooklyn Flea finishes off its' final full weekend at the One Hanson location this weekend. For the rest of April, this famous market will resume at the outdoor Fort Greene location on Saturdays and the One Hanson bank building on Sundays. {NewNew} artisans will be enjoying the friendly vibe and selling their fabulous handmade wares, with NordeaSoaperie, WishByFelicity, and YaniaCreations on Saturday and IreneCStudio, Vyphuisdesigns, and LittleBunny on Sunday.

Where to Find the {NewNew} ............. March 26,27,28




On Friday March 26 from 7-10pm, {NewNew} members Rocks and Salt, Kimmchi, and Wabisabi Brooklyn will debut their 2010 Spring designs at Better Than Jam Handmade Co-op, which is owned by {NewNew} member Karin Persan.

It will be a chance to sip some wine, chat with the designers, and be the first to see their new Spring creations. They will also be raffling off a gift certificate to the shop!

The Brooklyn Flea continues to draw huge crowds at the beautiful bank building at One Hanson Place. With just a little over a month left in this location, you're sure to find lots of buzz around the fresh designers selling handmade and vintage goods.

This Saturday, find {NewNew} members ApertureAgog with her needlecraft graffiti, MulryJewels and her swarovski crystal jewelry, and WabisabiBrooklyn with her decoupage penny earrings. On Sunday you will see LittleBunny's whimsical gocco printed greeting cards along with jewelers WabisabiBrooklyn and YaniaCreations.

Where to Find the {NewNew} March 20 +21


The extraordinary popularity of the Brooklyn Flea at One Hanson has led to an extension of the original market dates. Now you can find fantastic vendors at the historic Williamsburg Savings Bank clocktower location every Saturday and Sunday through April 3 + 4, and after that every Sunday in April.

This weekend, you can find {NewNew} artisans YaniaCreations, WishByFelicity, and Meekiyu on Saturday and LittleBunny, WabisabiBrooklyn, and WishByFelicity on Sunday.

Where to Find the {NewNew} March 13 + 14


This is the last month that the Brooklyn Flea will be at the historic former Williamsburg Savings Bank Clocktower! Be sure to stop on in and see this beautiful building, complete with original bank vaults and teller windows. Handmade goodies abound as vendors transform the space into a shopper's dream. This Saturday you'll find {NewNew} members Wabisabi Brooklyn (check out her giveaway in the previous post) joined by Mulry Jewels and Nordea Soaperie. On Sunday, find lovely jewelry by both Wish ByF elicity and Yania Creations along with more sweet-smelling soap by Nordea Soaperie.

Where to Find the {NewNew} March 6 + 7


It's another great weekend of shopping at the Brooklyn Flea, a handmade paradise featuring dozens of talented designers. This Saturday, check out {NewNew} artisan Wabisabi Brooklyn's decoupage coin jewelry, Wish By Felicity's classy jewelry, and KimmChi's unique silkscreened tees and chemises. On Sunday, Nordea Soaperie, will bring her luscious soaps and join Wish By Felicity, and Wabisabi Brooklyn for some good clean fun.

Walk through two industrial white garage doors into a unique market housed in The Old American Can Factory. With most of the artists selling their creations themselves, this is a fun opportunity to meet the artisan and put a face to the item you are taking home. This Sunday, you'll find {NewNew} member RedBridgeStudio selling her unique hand-printed napkins and pillows.
Location: Southeast Corner of Third Street and Third Avenue, between Carroll Gardens and Park Slope in Brooklyn. Sunday, 11am - 5pm.

Where to Find the {NewNew} February 27 + 28


The Brooklyn Flea lives up to its reputation as the best artisan market in NYC as it continues on at its winter home at One Hanson. Filled with talented vendors and enticing food, you won't be disappointed with the rich variety of products and designs. This Saturday, {NewNew} artisans Mulry Jewels, Vyphuis Designs, and Fernando Jewelry will be selling and on Sunday check out Wish By Felicity, Yania Creations, and The Chocolate Muffin.

The 2nd Annual Social Pariah Festival
PulpSushi will be at this alternative arts and music festival in the Hudson Valley. With over 40 alternative vendors, tattoo artists, live performances and bands from the local area and the tri-state area, this festival was created to show off the vast wealth of Hudson Valley talent. $5 admissions which will go to benefit the Pitch For Kids Funds (http://pitchforkids.org/). Must be 18 or older to be admitted.
Location: The Holiday Inn, 542 Route 9, Fishkill, NY. Saturday, 11am - 9pm.
