It's that time of year again, this year's global Craft Party is scheduled for June 10, so grab your friends some supplies, add some music and food and have a crafty soiree! Etsy Meetups are being organized all over the world for this event. Last year 5000 people participated and the goal for this year is to triple the participation to 15000.

If you want to find a Craft Party in your area, check out the list here. If there isn't one where you live, organize your own by clicking the "Start a new community" link. Organizers will receive a free downloadable Craft Party Kit. Last year's kit included party hats, craft ideas, templates, and coupons.

If you are in Brooklyn, the Craft Party will launch at Etsy labs where the theme will be a print party. You can screen print a tote, try out their letterpress, snap photos in the Etsy photo booth, and join in the world-wide fun of Craft Party. There'll be snacks, drinks, and other surprises.
